Northern Lights Costume

This costume is inspired by the Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis) and Norwegian folk and national costumes.

The decoration is based on embroideries and embellishing found on folk costume pieces. Other pieces of the costume, like the belt, front and back panels, refer to the traditionally embellished bodices, often with stomachers and heavily embroidered belts found in both national and folk costumes in Norway.
